Knight Center Journalism Courses on the Internet   Welcome to the trilingual Knight Center’s Distance Learning program! Since 2003, our program has trained over 2,000 journalists from the Americas and the Caribbean on a variety of journalism topics and themes that include investigative reporting, ethics, digital journalism techniques, covering armed conflicts, computer-assisted reporting, and many other topics. Our short courses (ranging from four to eight weeks) are completely online and taught by some of the most well-respected, experienced journalists and journalism trainers in the Americas.     Our courses take full advantage of multimedia with video lectures, chats, discussion forums, audio slideshows, self-paced quizzes, and other collaborative learning technologies. Read More » Knight Center offers online course in Spanish 'How to Write for the Web' The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is offering the online course “How to Write for the Web,” from Nov. 16 – Dec. 20, 2009. The course will be taught by Colombian journalist Guillermo Franco, based on his recent book How to write for the web. The free, five-week course has been designed specifically for the Knight Center.
