Brazilian journalists can now apply for a new online course on Animation and Visualization of Data

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas will be offering a four-week online course on “Interactive Journalism: Animation and Visualization of Data,” in Portuguese for Brazilian journalists from July 30, 2012 through August 24, 2012. Online course on infographics and data visualization to be offered in Portuguese again

Thinking visually is indispensable for the future of journalism, according to Spanish journalist Alberto Cairo. Cairo's approach to visual storytelling is the theme of the course “Intro to Infographics and Visualization for Journalists,” presented in Portuguese from Oct. 24 through Dec. 4. The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas' distance learning platform will host the course. Participants can register until Oct. 12. Read more »
