Desde 1999, ISOJ ha sido un programa \u00fanico del Centro Knight para el Periodismo en las Am\u00e9ricas de la Universidad de Texas en Austin y ha tendido un puente sobre la brecha entre profesionales y acad\u00e9micos preocupados por el presente y el futuro del periodismo en la era digital.<\/p>\n<p>ISOJ regresar\u00e1 al modo presencial en el campus de UT Austin tras dos a\u00f1os de realizarse solo en l\u00ednea a causa de la pandemia por COVID-19. Reservamos una sede nueva, m\u00e1s grande y m\u00e1s sofisticada para ISOJ 2022, esperando que las condiciones sanitarias nos permitan llevar a cabo el evento en persona. Sin embargo tambi\u00e9n estaremos en l\u00ednea sin importar lo que suceda con la parte presencial.<\/p>\n<p>ISOJ ha contado con transmisiones en vivo a trav\u00e9s de la web desde las primeras etapas de esta tecnolog\u00eda, en 1999, inicialmente con RealVideo. Pero en los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, que tuvimos que hacerlo solo en l\u00ednea, hemos aprendido mucho sobre c\u00f3mo mejorar nuestras transmisiones, hacerlas m\u00e1s interactivas y alcanzar una audiencia verdaderamente global.<\/p>\n<p>Personas de 154 pa\u00edses y territorios se registraron para\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/isoj.org\/symposia\/2021\/\">ISOJ 2021<\/a>, el cual incluy\u00f3 a 87 ponentes de 13 pa\u00edses, quienes hablaron sobre temas como redes colaborativas de investigaci\u00f3n, violencia en l\u00ednea contra mujeres periodistas, raza y equidad en las noticias, inteligencia artificial, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Videos (en ingl\u00e9s y espa\u00f1ol), transcripciones y art\u00edculos sobre ISOJ 2021 pueden ser consultados en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/isoj.org\/symposia\/2021\/\">isoj.org.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstamos muy emocionados en el Centro Knight por el ISOJ 2022 y tenemos muchas esperanzas de que nuestra edici\u00f3n 23 marcar\u00e1 el regreso de la reuni\u00f3n en persona en Austin\u201d, dijo el profesor Rosental Alves, quien fund\u00f3 y dirige tanto el centro como la conferencia. \u201cMultiplicamos nuestra audiencia muchas veces cuando nos vimos forzados a hacer ISOJ \u00fanicamente en l\u00ednea. Tuvimos m\u00e1s de 7.000 registros para ISOJ 2021, as\u00ed que no dejaremos de invertir en nuestra versi\u00f3n virtual.
