Sandra Crucianelli

Hiram_EnriquezSandra Crucianelli specializes in investigative journalism and precision journalism and their associated tools, such as using mathematics in reporting, and tracking documents online. She hosts a news program for Canal 7 in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. In 1997 she founded an investigative reporting unit dedicated to government accountability, public services, consumer protection, and environmental and financial crimes.

Crucianelli is also the founder and editor-in-chief of www.SoloLocal.Info, a digital journalism site based in Bahía Blanca. She teaches for several international organizations, including the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, the International Media Center at Florida International University, and the Organization of American States’ Trust for the Americas program. Crucianelli's awards for investigative reporting include honors from the Inter American Press Association, the Reuters Foundation, and the Biennial Prize from the Argentine Medical Association.
