Sandra Crucianelli

Hiram_Enriquez Sandra Crucianelli is a journalist specializing in investigative journalism and precision journalism and their associated tools, like applying mathematic techniques to reporting and online document tracking. She hosts a news program for Canal 7 in the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, where in 1997, she founded an investigative reporting united dedicated to government accountability, public services, crimes against the environment, consumer protection, and financial crime.

She is also the founder and editor-in-chief of www.SoloLocal.Info, a digital journalism initiative that is based in Bahía Blanca. She teaches for various international organizations, including the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, the Mass Media center at Florida International University, and the Organization of American States’ Trust for the Americas program. Crucianelli has won several awards for investigative reporting, including honors from the Inter America Press Association, the Reuters Foundation, and the Biennial Prize from the Argentine Medical Association.
