Claudia Bueno was an international student from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil studying journalism at the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. During her time at the University, she volunteered at the Knight Center as a blogger and researcher. She hopes to pursue a career as a foreign correspondent, covering issues as human rights and democracy in Latin America.
