YouTube launches feed for breaking news videos
With news videos being uploaded to YouTube every minute, the video-sharing website has announced a test news feed aimed at helping users -- including journalists -- easily search and find breaking news videos.
The YouTube News Feed, in collaboration with the University of California at Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, will offer a constant stream of the latest news videos at citizentube.com.
Some bloggers have raised concerns that the News Feed could be more about "shock-and-awe" than insightful, in-depth videos.
Others, however, see YouTube's new venture as the next step in the media's evolution.
