Last days to register for online course “Data Visualization and Infographics with D3” in Spanish; space is limited

Virtual seats are still available for the Knight Center’s upcoming course in Spanish, “Data Visualization and Infographics with D3,” which starts on Jan. 18. Register now.

This is the first time this course will be offered in Spanish. More than 1,000 people interested in data-visualization took this course in English last year when it was taught by Alberto Cairo and Scott Murray. Read more »


Online course on data visualization and infographics with D3 now in Spanish; enrollment is open

"Data Visualization and Infographics with D3", one of the most popular online courses in English offered this year by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, will be offered in Spanish starting January 18, 2016.

Both times that this course was offered in English in 2015, spaces filled up quickly. The Knight Center now offers this course in Spanish after receiving repeated requests. Be sure to register as soon as possible to ensure your participation. Read more »


Knight Center celebrates three years of MOOCs in journalism, passes 70,000 students in its online courses

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is celebrating the third anniversary of its unique program offering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Big Online Courses (BOCs). So far, 62,803​ people from 169 countries have benefited from 19 MOOCs and five BOCs. Read more »

Google launches Media Tools website in Spanish


Google has launched a Spanish version of its Media Tools website, which gathers all its digital tools with journalistic applications in a single place.
