The just-announced slate of speakers for the 26th International Symposium on Online Journalism (ISOJ) will feature leading journalists from top news outlets and organizations, like National Public Radio, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, ProPublica, and The New York Times. And more speakers are being added every week!
Fifty speakers from 19 countries – from the U.S. to Malawi – will join ISOJ to discuss topics including funds for journalism, the impact of artificial intelligence, rebuilding audience trust, political satire, covering the second Trump administration, news avoidance, and more.

Keynoters for this year’s ISOJ include Katherine Maher, CEO and president of National Public Radio; Terry Tang, executive editor of the Los Angeles Times; and Versha Sharma, editor in chief of Teen Vogue.
The fourth keynote session will be a special panel on innovative funds created to finance journalism in the U.S. and around the world. Speakers include Sarabeth Berman, CEO of the American Journalism Project; Dale Anglin, director of Press Forward; Pierrick Judéaux, director of policy and ecosystem development at the International Fund for Public Interest Media; and Carolina Oms, director of partnerships and fundraising for the Brazilian Journalism Support Fund.
