Transcripts from ISOJ 2025 keynote sessions and panel presentations now available

Curious what NPR President and CEO Katherine Maher had to say during the 26th International Symposium on Online Journalism (ISOJ)? Want to remind yourself of what White House reporters discussed during this year’s ISOJ panel about the challenges of covering the second Trump administration? Now’s your chance: The transcripts for all ISOJ sessions are now available in PDF format and can be downloaded for free from the 2025 archive.

Video recordings from each session of ISOJ 2025 are also publicly available in the archive, or you can view them on YouTube in English or Spanish.

Nearly 900 people from about 60 countries attended this year’s ISOJ, which took place online and in person at the University of Texas at Austin on March 27 and 28, 2025. ISOJ sessions explored the impact of artificial intelligence, doing journalism in democracies in decline, changing definitions of journalism in an age of digital content creation, news avoidance, fact checking, and more.

The newly available 2025 transcripts have been added to a trove of videos, transcripts and news coverage from each symposium going back to 1999. Head to isoj.org to browse the complete archives and take a trip through the evolution of online journalism.

Dates of the 27th ISOJ will be announced shortly. For all ISOJ updates, check out isoj.org or subscribe to the ISOJ newsletter in English or Spanish.
