Did you miss the 26th International Symposium on Online Journalism (ISOJ)? Or maybe you’re just wanting to revisit one of this year’s insightful presentations?
Video recordings of ISOJ, which took place online and in person at the University of Texas at Austin, March 27-28, 2025, are now publicly available. Watch for free, at any time, in English or Spanish.
All videos are available on the ISOJ YouTube channel, as well as the ISOJ 2025 archive at isoj.org, where you can find news coverage of every keynote session, panel and workshop from the conference.
Nearly 9,000 people registered to attend ISOJ 2025 online or in person. This annual conference, organized by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas at UT Austin’s Moody College of Communication, brings together journalists, media executives, students and scholars to explore challenges and opportunities for journalism in the digital era.
“In the 26-year history of ISOJ, the topics have never been as urgent and timely as in 2025,” said Professor Rosental Alves, founder and director of ISOJ and the Knight Center.
Sessions focused on the impact of artificial intelligence, doing journalism in democracies in decline, covering the second administration of Trump, changing definitions of who is a journalist, news avoidance, fact checking, and more.
All registered ISOJ attendees had access to the livestream of all sessions and were sent exclusive links to session recordings just hours after they happened. The Knight Center is now making the videos public to expand the reach of the presentations at a time when journalism and journalists are more important than ever.
